The Universal Thirst Gazette

About the Gazette

Despite billions of people using Indic scripts, and speaking the languages they represent, information about them can be challenging to access and understand. The Universal Thirst Gazette aims to encourage active discussion and interest in type, in particular Indic type, providing resources for designers, researchers and students to learn more.

We’ll be publishing essays, interviews and snippets from our archives - which are the result of years of research and collection - with the aim of sharing knowledge and understanding

The Gazette is an independent initiative from Universal Thirst, and we welcome contributors. If you’d like to donate, collaborate, or discuss research, please get in touch at hello@universalthirst.com.
